Overview: BOSA was established and registered as an incorporated society in 2011. It is a non-government and non-profit organization with a particular focus on private sector development in Savaii. The association is guided by an executive council elected from over 60 members.

Activities: BOSA is involved in specific activities to provide a coherent and unified platform on which advocacy and support towards the business community in Savaii.

1) Information sharing and dissemination

Provide and facilitate capacity building trainings through dialogue, forums, workshops and regular meetings with members promoting regulation compliance, addressing business development needs for sustainable businesses.

2) Site visitation and inspections

Visit members on business site with dialogue to increase members awareness for regulation compliances and assist in business issues like tax declaration, bookkeeping, account management etc.

3) Advocacy

Provide policy and projects advocacy support, expand network awareness and maintain strong relationship with members, government, donor partners & stakeholders and other Organisations to address private sector development in Savaii.
